Clocking in at the West Auckland Clothing Factory
On the 15th of September 2025, the Hidden Story team were warmly welcomed into the home of Helene Close to hear more about her memories, objects and photographs from the West Auckland Clothing factory (established 1940) which used to be a large employer of textile workers based in West Auckland. In later years it became Steinbergs.
